Originally from Long Island, New York, Lindsey grew up on the East Coast and graduated from Stony Brook University with a MA in Linguistics. After working in New York she realized that rather than spending her few weeks’ vacation visiting the mountains, she wanted to create a job and a lifestyle that allowed her to live in the places she loved. So getting involved in property management was a natural fit.
Sharing a love for the mountains and snow, Lindsey and James lived in Meribel, France running a ski chalet that helped foster their idea for Cooper’s Cabins. Cooper’s Cabins was founded on recognizing and appreciating the precious but limited vacation time people have to spend with their friends and families. In this spirit, Lindsey wanted to help optimize clients’ vacation time by collaborating with Cooper's Cabins guests to create the vacation they’d dreamed of.
In the summer you will find Lindsey on the biking trails, hiking trails, and soccer fields and in the winter snowboarding in the backcountry. Of course she and James have a dog, Banksy, as you aren’t considered a local by Park City standards without one. Her experience in client satisfaction coupled with her experience property management means you can enjoy your vacation and leave everything up to her.
James was born and raised on the southern coast of England and then attended college in the United States. He completed his undergraduate degree in Economics and his M.B.A at C.W Post, Long Island University, whilst captaining the soccer team.
James's love for skiing and the outdoors started whilst growing up skiing in the French Alps with his family. He worked in finance in New York for a few years, but then Lindsey and James quickly decided they wanted to make the outdoors part of their day-to-day life. After spending a season in Meribel, France, Lindsey and James moved to the mountains in Park City UT to develop a vacation property management company that later became Cooper’s Cabins.
James can be found working late nights in the office, but mainly because his mornings are comprised of golfing, biking, or skiing. He is passionate about growing Cooper’s Cabins inventory of rental properties with the right homes, and just as importantly the right homeowners. He is actively looking for homeowners who want to work with a professional property management company to utilize the unused space when they’re away or during the off season.
