The festive season is finally upon us, the decorations are being added to houses and trees alike, however what makes a festive season in Park City truly special is an abundance of snow. As a ski resort, it is clear that for a successfull winter season on the slopes, you need the magic ingredient of fresh snow. A good amount of snowfall has only just hit Park City and the surrounding areas, which may be as a result of a little mountain tradition that took place recently a few miles away from Park City Mountain Resort.

A collection of friends and skiing fanatics gathered to burn old skiing equipment in an attempt to nudge the 'Snow Gods' towards Park City. This ritual, known locally as a Burnski, seems to have done the trick, as the mountains are beggining to recieve regular deliveries of quality snowfall, which will no doubt bring some incredible conditions for skiers and snowboarders alike. For some, the snowfall will also mean that they are able to enjoy a traditional 'White Christmas' in one of the most stunning and unique areas within the United States of America.
