Adopting the Canyons logo with Park City’s colors supports Vail's new slogan, 'There is only one', for the merge of The Canyons and Park City, which is now singular and recognized as, Park City Mountain. Within the unified resort you will be able to access Park City Village as well as the Canyons Village, allowing skiers to dip into Jupiter and 9990 all in the same day.
Two years ago we spent a winter in the French Alps at, Les Trios Vallées Resort (The Three Valleys Ski Resort). Meribel, Courchevel, and Val Thorens, are the three valleys that make up the immense ski area and are connected by gondolas and trams. This area is considered to be one of the largest linked ski areas in the world. Each valley is quite a feat on its own, however, having access to all three valleys in the same day is spectacular. Coincidentally Les Trios Vallées is a Vail affiliated resort and can be skied using the Epic Pass. You will also stumble upon a ski-run in Park City called Courchevel and vice versa, as they are known as ‘Sister Cities’ due to their characteristics and alikeness. Although these two resorts are in different time zones and on different continents many parallels can be drawn. Park City is starting to look more and more like The Three Valleys with only one hill left to conquer; I'm just not sure Deer Valley will ever unify with Vail’s, ‘There is only one’.
